Otters for the Aquarium

IMG_7442.JPG

Dylan is very passionate about the ocean and all of its inhabitants. He spends a lot time at the local aquarium and one day hopes to be a marine biologist.

When he heard there was a campaign to bring otters to the Biopark, he immediately wanted to help. Dylan would like this painting to be auctioned off with 100% of the proceeds benefitting the otter exhibit.

Spotted Series

Dyl is busy painting animals that live in the zoo. For this series, he says he was inspired by Kandinsky’s “Color Study of Squares.” Dyl says this gives him a chance to use many colors all at once. His hope is that someone from our Biopark will love these pieces as much as he does and display them at the zoo.

Teaching Art

Thanks to Fletcher and the staff at Autism Communication Consultants, Dylan is teaching art at their SMART Camp. For three weeks in June, Dylan will talk about brush strokes, blending colors and artistic styles while incorporating each week’s theme into his demonstration.

The Spotted Sheep

How all sheep should look…

Ron Suskind, author of Life, Animated, wrote, “We especially can’t stop staring at his sheep, who looks like Kandinsky’s ‘Color Study – Squares and Concentric Circles (1913)‘ engaged in some rapid mitosis and grew legs.” Spot on!
